Abstract Yellow, Orange & Black Kantha Throw
A wild abstract kantha throw with large sqwiggles of yellow & orange on patterned black & white background.
We could feature either side of this superb double sided vintage kantha throw. The feaured side has yellow and orange sqwiggles on a black and white striped and bubbly background.
The vibrant reverse side has blue flowers on a yellow and orange background with a tight zigzag pattern.
A cottage industry item upcycled from vintage cotton saris in west Bengal and Bangladesh. All our Kanthas are unique. The layers of fabric are bound together in the traditional style with very tight kantha running stitches which create an additional texture & pattern discernible on close inspection.
Kanthas make great throws for a sofa or chair or a top layer for a bed. We display them casually draped on a sofa; they also look superb as neatly fitted sofa covers for a more formal look.
This piece is larger than the average kantha.

We recommend that you machine wash at 30 degrees using non biological detergent.
