Indigo Shibori Circles Kantha Throw

A vintage kantha quilt that's been tied dyed in shibori style to create concentric indigo circles.

The indigo shibori circles partly reveal & hide the underlying pattern which on one side shows a mango design with traces of pink and on the reverse a small pattern &  rows of patterned stripes.

Both sides are magical creations of re-envisaging of a vintage textile. The more you look into the fabric the more mysterious it seems as small patterns are revealed. The effect is that of an exploding galactic nebula in deep space.

We'd suggest not placing on a pale fabric.

All our Kanthas are unique and upcycled from vintage cotton saris. 

Machine wash at 30 degrees using non biological detergent.
