A beautiful reversible blue & purple Tree of Life bedspread; one side more blue, reverse more purple.

The central motif is the Tree of Life; beautiful herons grace the foreground and exotic birds decorate the border. A beautiful lighter weight double bedspread woven in the jacquard style so that the Tree of Life pattern is purple on a blue background on one side, the colours are reversed on the other side - two bedspreads in one! This type of weaving has the effect like Shangtung silk in that the colours shift with the light.

King size approx 225x250cm.
In India this is called a double bedspread. It is suitable for double, king size and super king beds.

Cool machine wash on delicate or wool setting using non-bio detergent.
