Eight Buddha Statue Panel
Eight relief carvings of a seated Buddha on an old large dark wooden panel.
The carving is clear and distinct and seems to show the Buddha's hands in a collection of the classic mudras: touching the earth (bhumispara), generosity (varada), meditation (dhyana), fearlessness (abaya) and teaching (or turning the wheel of the dharma - dharmachakra).
This large carved panel - approximately 6' tall - would make a stunning addition to a bedroom, hall or lounge. It could be stood against the wall or could easily have simple brackets attached to the rear face so it could then be hung on the wall.
