Indian miniature painting of pale gold flowers and buds.
Painted on old paper originally issued by the Government of Jaipur, court paper with the Jaipur coat of arms. The elegance and energy of the flowers is a delight.
Painted in the traditional Rajasthani style by Mukesh. When we last me him he lived in Bundi, a lovely small town in Rajasthan. He's a charming man who sat and painted in his small shop in the market street at Bundi. He keeps his best work away from the shop window to prevent people photographing and copying his ideas.
The reverse side is covered with handwritten script.
