A fine painting in a carved wooden frame of a bejewelled Indian Maharajah holding a flower.
The Maharajah is wearing elaborate jewellery and sitting on a throne. There is a small floral pattern and gold brocade on his tunic and turban. In his right hand he holds a pink flower which he brings to his nose. His left hand rests on his belt.
The wooden frame is elaborately carved with open jali style floral carving below the painting.
