A superb Warli painting of a tree with delicate leaves growing from red earth, inhabited with several couples.
The red earth is populated with birds and insects. Plants are growing from the earth along with a large central tree which is occupied by several men and women who seem to be in greater harmony as they ascend the tree that is set against a white background.
Peacocks, a symbol of love, attend the tree. The whole is surrounded by a deep red border the colour of the earth, the red earth colour that is typical of many Warli paintings on mud cloth.
