A Saura painting of a tree with red berries on silk from Odisha (Orissa).
Painted on cream silk this is a fine painting in the traditional pattachitra style of a tall stylised tree with convoluted branches & red berres in full leaf surrounded with a narrow border, black with red detail. Bunches of red branches in the top corners.
Dimensions: 55x28cm (portrait format).
