Indian miniature paintings of elephants on vintage postcards.
There is handwritten script on the reverse of the cards.
The top card is date stamped Wadwhan 17 Dec 1921. Wadhwan is a delightful fortified town in Gujarat. In 2019 I photographed a beautiful building which was possibly the old Wadwhan post office - Om Star Building, Wadwhan.
The bottom card is dated 1917 and addressed to Bombay.
Dimensions approx 6" x 4".
