A fine tall bronze statue of a standing Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara in a copper colour with golden brass finish on the face, hands and chest.
Avalokiteshvara is the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Having said that, the shape of the hips suggests a female Bodhisattva, possible Tara, a Bodhisattva of Compassion who sprang from the tears of Avalokiteshvara.The Dalai Lama is considered to be an emanation of Avalokiteshvara.
