Purple Oriental Jacquard Coat

A beautiful coat in shades of dark and light purple

Birds and flowers decorate this fully lined silky jacquard coat. The predominant colour is a dark aubergine purple with a paler shade on the border of the body and sleeves. The pattern on the main body of the coat is lilac and on the border the pattern is in dark and even paler purple. Beautifully made and fully lined in satin.

The fabric is viscose, which is half way between natural and synthetic. It is made from naturally occurring plant fibres but is highly processed. It drapes well and is often used as a silk substitute.
