A small colourful stepwell with discarded Hindu statues near Pushkar.

Budha Pushkar stepped pond is near to Gaya Kund and the Pushkar bypass. Like Gaya Kund it is a place where pilgrims come to bathe and leave old statues and clothes as part of a spiritual journey to the holy town of Pushkar.

Many of the steps are coloured a beautiful deep rose pink, others a sky blue. In this photo an egret is looking for small fish in the water.
