This photo of a green door and blue cart was taken at night in the old town or pols of Ahmedabad. I like the image of the man stepping out against the green light of the doorway. The cart would be his working tool for the day's trading. 

The Pols are narrow lanes and communities in the old heart of Ahmedabad, atmospheric places of harsh street light and dark shadows. We stayed there for a few nights in January 2019 and found we'd entered a fascinating world of friendly old communities that are slowly changing as people move to newer parts of town.
