On this occasion there are no parrots to be seen - they've been replaced by pigeons! Parrots love to nest in the small cracks in the masonry. A couple of hours after dawn they appear in droves, swooping across the open well and sitting on the ledges.

Neemrana is 2-3 hours drive from Delhi and easily visited in a day.
