Pangong Tso Lakeshore, Changtang, Photos of Ladakh

This photo was taken on the southern shore of Pangong Tso. Pangong Tso is a long thin lake in the north east of Ladakh on the border with Tibet. Two thirds of the length of the lake is in China but the wider parts of the lake and the bulk of the water is in Ladakh.

Surrounded by beautiful mountains and big skies, it's a beautiful location best experienced if you follow the track until you come to the quiet village of Merak where there is a homestay, a small gompa and views towards Tibet.

Landscape format, the proportions are approx 5:3 so an A3 print will have a printed image size of approx 40x24cm, a 50x70cm print will have an image size of approx 40x68cm.
