A photo of one of the stepwells at Bundi Fort, high above the town of Bundi, 2018. 

On the slopes above the town of Bundi is the Royal Palace and high above the palace is the old fort which has three stepwells in the stepped water tank style. The trek up to the fort is worth it but to be avoided if you don't like monkeys which act as if they own the place, which, in a sense they do.

The tanks are not especially deep, one of the others was dry but here we have some delightfully vivid green water. I like the symmetry in this image and the mystery implied by the reflection.
