Two Monks at Muney Monastery | Zanskar

Buddhist Monks, Muney Monastery, Zanskar

We met these two monks at Muney Monastery, Zanskar. They were waiting for the older monk to arrive to conduct lunchtime prayers. We were visiting Muney before starting our two-week trek through Zanskar into Ladakh. The older monk conducted ritual blessings that involved praying to all the Buddha and Bodhisattva images for our journey before we started.
