Bold Caramel & Black Patterned Kantha Throw
A stunning reversible kantha throw with a bold caramel & black print on one side, red, black & yellow on reverse.
We could feature either side of this superb double sided vintage kantha throw. One side has bold caramel & black colours with circles, stripes & squares; the reverse side has red and yellow flowers on a broad wavy stripes of red and midnight blue.
A cottage industry item upcycled from vintage cotton saris in west Bengal and Bangladesh. All our Kanthas are unique. The layers of fabric are bound together in the traditional style with very tight kantha running stitches which create an additional texture & pattern discernible on close inspection.
Kanthas make great throws for a sofa or chair or a top layer for a bed. We display them casually draped on a sofa; they also look superb as neatly fitted sofa covers for a more formal look.
This piece is larger than the average kantha.

We recommend that you machine wash at 30 degrees using non biological detergent.
