A fine carved bracket shelf from India with a beautifully carved bird acting as support bracket to the triangular shelf.
Often called telephone shelves in India, this is a very fine example of a decorative shelf perfect for a small vase of flowers or ornament. The wood is a very dark, almost black colour, a curly carved pattern decorates the edges of the shelf and a diamond hatched pattern is the backdrop behind the delicately carved bird.
