This fascinating wooden sculpture in the form of a goat with curled horns is for making fruit juice.

This dark wood sculpture with the side profile of a stylised goat is covered with carvings.

The head is carved with a mouth, eye, ear and splendid round wooden horns. There are carved designs on the front leg and rump and the square section torso is carved with a star. A vertical cavity in the torso is where the fruit would be placed and squeezed with the thick wooden mortar below which a metal plate would funnel the juice.
