A vintage Rajasthani chain stitched chakla with square sheesha mirrors, striped border & tassels.
A lovely piece with strong colours. The pattern is of four squares packed with mirrorwork, separated & surrounded by large square mirrors further surrounded by an unusual embroidered wave pattern. The whole embroidered piece is then bordered with a red, black & gold woven striped fabric & a narrow black piped border with eight tassels
A lovely old piece of Rajasthani embroidery.
