Giant Red, Blue & Yellow Flowers Kantha Throw
A stunning kantha throw with giant blue flowers with yellow leaves; the reverse has red & yellow flowers.
We could feature either side of this superb double sided vintage kantha throw. One side has huge turquoise blue flowers with a touch of red and yellow leaves on a midnight blue background; the reverse has bright red and yellow flower patterns on a black background.
A cottage industry item upcycled from vintage cotton saris in west Bengal and Bangladesh. All our Kanthas are unique. The layers of fabric are bound together in the traditional style with very tight kantha running stitches which create an additional texture & pattern discernible on close inspection.
Kanthas make great throws for a sofa or chair or a top layer for a bed. We display them casually draped on a sofa; they also look superb as neatly fitted sofa covers for a more formal look.
This piece is larger than the average kantha.

We recommend that you machine wash at 30 degrees using non biological detergent.
