The painting on this fabric panel depicts Hanuman a mighty ape that aided Lord Rama in his expedition against evil forces, he is one of the most popular idols in the Hindu pantheon. Believed to be an avatar of Lord Shiva, Hanuman is worshiped as a symbol of physical strength, perseverance and devotion. This stunning freehand depiction is in deep, warm red with an inky black background on a soft beige fabric.
Presented in a black frame and only available on collection from the Silk Road Gallery. The "flares" in the photo are reflections in the glass.
