An Indian miniature painting of a white elephant painted on old legal paper from Jaipur.
This delightful painting of an elephant is executed on old legal paper from the Government of Jaipur.
The elephant has a raised trunk and is walking quickly with left leg forward. On his back is a green blanket trimmed with yellow.
The paper is stamped with a payment of four annas. In the background is several lines of hand written script.
Painted by our friend Mukesh, a 4th generation painter of Indian miniatures.
Painting size approx 20x30cm.
Supplied in a sepia window mount card ready to fit in a 30x40cm frame.
