Delightful Indian miniature paintings on vintage postcards of monkeys plucking fruit.
Monkeys plucking fruit from trees is one of our favourite themes of our friend Mukesh's paintings.
The reverse sides are covered in script. the top card was postmarked 3 June 1915; the others from a similar period with the stamp of George V.
The top two are addressed to some placein Marwar in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan.
The middle one was posted in Bhavnagar on 16th September 1915.
Dimensions approx 6" x 4".
Our friend Mukesh is a 4th generation painter of Indian miniatures.
