A colourful Gond painting of a large, highly patterned tree with intertwined branches and shaded, orange roots.
This is a large colourful Gond painting on canvas; black outlines delineate the shapes on a white ground, with pink, yellow, blue, green, orange colours and red to enliven the image.
The tree reaches deep in to the earth to a square shaped face guarded on either side by creatures with snake-like bodies and birds heads.
This Indian painting has been signed by the artist.
