Orange Reflections in the Water | Stepwell Photos

The well is surrounded by other buildings in the centre of the lovely town of Jodhpur. 

It's a pretty little well with chattris and pavilions in two of the corners. Jodhpur has a sophisticated system of underground water tanks which keep the water fresh; tiny fish were easily spotted in the water. 

The friendly caretaker calls himself the Maharaja of the Stepwell.
