Blue-Mauve Oriental Jacquard Coat

A mauve coat with pink crane and floral motifs

Cranes and flowers decorate this fully lined silky jacquard coat. The predominant colour mauve with a pink border on the body and sleeves. The pattern on the main body of the coat is pink and on the border the pattern is mauve, both have touches of soft green. Beautifully made in viscose with a cotton lining.

The fabric is viscose, which is half way between natural and synthetic. It is made from naturally occurring plant fibres but is highly processed. It drapes well and is often used as a silk substitute.
