An unusual carved wooden figure with the legs & torso of a man but with a spoon where the head should be.
The man is standing with knees bent, there is a decorative pattern around his ankles. The spoon is large and spear shaped. Carved from one piece of dark brown, light weight wood, standing on wooden plinth.
An unusual piece collected in the 1980's. Although it looks African I believe it originated in Indonesia.
