If you've looked through our stepwell photos you've probably realised that Neemrana is one of my favourites. I've been there five times to see it in different light. This photo was taken in October 2022. When we arrived I had no idea that it was undergoing restoration. This view is from the bridge across the lower arch, looking back up towards the entrance.

Neemrana never disappoints. 9 storeys deep and slowly crumbling away, descending into the dank lower depths of Neemrana, edging your way along narrow ledges, it feels like a journey into another world.
