Om Star Building, Wadwhan, Gujarat | Photos of India

I've called this beautiful blue and yellow building the Om Star because of the central crest of the word Om.

The delightful old fortified town of Wadwhan is one of the highlights of Gujarat. The Om Star building has the air of a municipal building, maybe the Post Office. 

We were searching for some fine stepwells and nearby countryside but the town itself is a delight. Narrow lanes, dusty streets, colourful buildings, friendly people, the hammering of metal water pots being made in backstreet workshops alongside women making the bandani textiles for which it's famous.
