Soft Red, Grey & White Mango Pattern Kantha Throw

A beautiful vintage kantha throw with soft coral and grey mango patterns; pale yellow diamonds on reverse.

One side has an unusual grey, soft Indian red and mango pattern with other abstract patterns and narrow geometric borders on a white background. The reverse has white diamonds on a pale yellow background with narrow Indian red borders.

A cottage industry item upcycled from vintage cotton saris in west Bengal and Bangladesh. All our Kanthas are unique. The layers of fabric are bound together in the traditional style with very tight kantha running stitches which create an additional texture & pattern discernible on close inspection.

Kanthas make great throws for a sofa or chair or a top layer for a bed.
We recommend that you machine wash at 30 degrees using non biological detergent.
