Vintage Barber's Mirror, Distressed Turquoise & Red

An Indian street barber's vintage teak mirror with distressed turquoise & deep red paint.

An old teak wooden mirror with a shelf, front opening cupboard & small towel. There are traces of turquoise and deep red paintwork. I wonder how many faces have looked into this mirror while sitting on the barber's chair in the shade of an old banyan tree in the village square.

Several years ago these would have been a common sight in places like Rajasthan. in our homes we can use these vintage barber's mirrors in a bathroom or place for your last minute check of hair, make up or tie. Or simply as a decorative item for the wall and somewhere you can display small collectibles. 

The vintage barber's mirrors like these are old and used and the mirror glass is rarely perfect.
