Indian Bedspreads & Quilts Are Made From Luxurious Fabrics
India is famous for it's vibrantly coloured textiles as in this outdoor market in Jodhpur.
Our Indian bedspreads and quilts are made from beautifully crafted cotton fabrics. They're beautiful as bed covers but they also make wonderful soft throws for a sofa or day bed. Like this Indigo Patchwork, they're made in one generous size that can be used on double, king size or super king size beds.
The Taj is a fine example of the mirrorwork and embroidery that is typical of the tribal people from Gujarat, Rajasthan and the Thar desert. Many of the Indian bedspreads we have become familiar with over the last 30 years are from the villages of Rajasthan and Gujarat. The satin embroidery and sheesha mirror work is all done by hand.
This colourful Kantha bedspread comes in a choice of several colours printed with a vibrant pattern and finished with running stitch called Kantha.
The reverse side is a plain fabric with the simple elegance of the stitching - you have two bedspreads in one!
This luxurious soft Turkoman quilt is made from a thick, soft velvet embroidered with gold thread. A wonderful quilt for cool winter nights!
