Padmasambhava in Ladakh 10"x8" Book
A book of photographs of statues and paintings of Padmasambhava taken in Ladakh and Zanskar.
This self published book takes you on a journey across Ladakh and Zanskar, at the northern tip of India between Kashmir and Tibet. It would be more accurate to say many journeys since the author (Peter Bennion, one of the directors of the Silk Road Gallery) has travelled north, south, east and west many times across this land. Ladakh means the Land of High Passes and the photos include stunning images of the landscape, monasteries and other Buddhist figures including Avalokiteshvara and Maitreya.
Here you can see a selection of pages from the book (in preview quality only) and order the book or pdf. It is self published by Blurb.
