An old dark wooden Buddha statue, worn smooth with age.
The right hand is in the touching the Fearlessness Mudra, the left hand is holding a bowl.
The features have been worn smooth and the statue has a lovely deep patina with the subtle smell of smoke and yak butter.The eyes are closed in meditation.
From Ladakh or Tibet.
