2014 was our second visit to the beautiful monastery at Samye. This photo was taken from inside the entrance looking outwards at the giant juniper burners in the courtyard as a woman with a carrier bag approaches the temple while monks wait by the entrance holding carrier bags & incense.Samye monastery is where Buddhism became established in Tibet in the 7th Century.
