Tibetan Thangka Painting of Avalokiteshvara

This canvas thangka painting is of the four armed Avalokiteshvara; the outer hands are holding a mala (prayer beads) and a lotus. The inner hands are holding the Cintamani, the wish fufilling jewel, which represents the Bodhicitta (the will to enlightenment for all beings). The painting has an outer border in an earth red.
It was painted by a Nepalese artist in 2015 and bought in Ladakh in 2022.
