Yak bone Buddhist prayer beads (malas) from Ladakh.

There are 108 beads on these Tibetan malas plus coral & turquoise beads which are separated by small white metal finials. The "halfway point" is marked with a longer bead, finely knotted cord and two small red beads. At this price you can assume the coral & turquoise will be artificial.

They were bought in Leh market, Ladakh. Ladakh has a Tibetan Buddhist culture and has often been referred to as Little Tibet.
