This Rangoli pattern was on a doorstep as a welcome to the house in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Rangoli patterns are auspicious designs often created by hand with chalks & coloured powders but also, like this one which is starting to fade, as a bought stencil. They're seen especially at Diwali and other festivals but many houses will always have an image like this on the doorstep.
