A fine painting in a carved wooden frame of a bejewelled Indian Maharani holding a flower.
The Maharani is wearing elaborate jewellery and sitting on a throne. There is a small floral pattern and gold brocade on her tunics and crown. In her left hand he holds a red flower which she brings to her nose. Her left hand rests on a short stick.
The wooden frame is elaborately carved with open jali style floral carving below the painting.
Makes an excellent pair with the Large Framed Painting of a Maharajah.
