A beautiful tall statue of a standing Tara.
This is a beautiful tall brass statue of Tara, a female Bodhisattva of Compassion, said to have been formed from the tears of Avalokiteshvara, another Bodhisattva of Compassion.
Tara is the Bodhisattva who carries you over, to the further shore of Enlightenment. The right hand is reaching down into the world, the left raised in the protection mudra.
