A small, very fine quality standing Green Tara statue in oxidised copper.
A copper bronze colour statue of the standing Green Tara. Excellent detail; the face, hand & details on the robe are especially fine. Green Tara is the popular female Bodhisattva of Compassion. In her hands she holds lotus stems; the flowers are shown in three different stages of opening.
In Tibet she is known as Dolma, the saviouress. Tara - she who who take you to the farther shore, across the ocean of samsara.
These new precision made oxidised copper Buddha statues have exceptional detail and superbly fine facial features.
