The flight from Delhi to Leh is a wonderful one hour flight over the snowy peaks of the Himalaya. Sitting on the left the views are bester and you may see K2, sitting on the right makes for a more exciting landing.

Just arrived back in India, today’s a stopover in Delhi before we fly to the high altitude desert of Buddhist Ladakh. We visit the ruins of the third Delhi at Feroz Shah Kotla and the 2000 year old Ashoka column.
