A fine quality oxidised copper rupa or statue of the Bodhisattva Manjushri.

A copper bronze colour statue of the Bodhisattva Manjushri. Excellent detail; the face, hand & details on the robe are especially fine. Manjushri is the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, in his right hand he weilds the flaming sword that cuts through all ignorance; by his left arm rises a lotus stem supporting a book of Dharma texts.
