Krishna in the Forest - Carved Wooden Mould
Regular price
£95.00
A large wooden mold of Krishna which can be used as a sculptural Indian wall panel.
This wooden mold of Krishna is part of a collection we found in Delhi. The moulds had been used to cast decorative concrete and plaster relief images.
Krishna is standing cross legged, a typical pose, in front of a cow, playing his flute to attract the gopis, cow girls, who live in the forest.
This dark heavy mold is a substantial and characterful piece of wood, it would make a unique decorative item for the wall - or you could even try making casts yourself.
Complete with screws that enable you to remove parts of the mould to release the casting.
