A Rajasthani miniature painting of Krishna and Radha on old paper from the Government of Jaipur.
Finely detailed and finished with gold leaf the painting shows them reclining on a swing. Krishna is turning to look at his lover Radha.
Painted by Mukesh, a painter of Indian miniatures in the town of Bundi in Rajasthan.
The reverse side of the paper has beautifully handwritten script. The paper is stamped with 'Four annas' and a date stamp of 1910.
If you have good eyesight and look closely you'll find Mukesh's signature!
