Wandering alone at night in the back lanes of old Ahmedabad we came across many atmospheric images including this old pot that's taken on the pale dusty blue grey of the doorway and porch.

The Pols are narrow lanes and communities in the old heart of Ahmedabad, atmospheric places of harsh street light, dark shadows and friendly old communities that are slowly changing as people move to newer parts of town.
