One of the main activities in the delightful old town of Wadhwan is the making of brass water pots. The lanes of the town ring with the sound of men, and some women, hammering sheets of brass over iron formers to create the classic Indian water pot. The components are then brazed together in small forges like the one in the photo.

Another of the delights of Wadhwan are the old painted doors in blues, green and dusty pinks.
